Professor Ir Denny Ng Kok Sum is Dean, School of Engineering and Technology, Sunway University Malaysia. Prof Ng has published over 250 papers with an h-index of 44. He is active in various professional bodies, which include IChemE, Young Scientist Network – Academy of Sciences Malaysia (YSN-ASM), etc. He is a fellow of IChemE, UK and The Higher Education Academy, UK; Chartered Engineer, Engineering Council, UK; Professional Engineer, Board of Engineers Malaysia; ASEAN Professional Engineer; Vice Chair of YSN-ASM, Chair of Academic Research on Palm Oil Sustainability, etc. With his excellent contributions, he received various international and national recognitions.
Prof. Yadati Narahari is an Honorary Professor at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bangalore. His research focuses on applying game theory, mechanism design, and machine learning to problems at the intersection of computer science and economics. Prof. Narahari’s academic journey includes a B.E. in Electrical Communication Engineering in 1982, followed by an M.E. and Ph.D. in Computer Science and Automation in 1984 and 1987, respectively. He joined the faculty of the Department of Computer Science and Automation at IISc in February 1988. He served as Chair of the Department from January 2010 to July 2014 and as Dean of the Division of Electrical, Electronics, and Computer Sciences (EECS) from August 2014 to July 2021. Additionally, he chaired the Office of DIGITS (Digital Campus and Informational Technology Services) from January 2016 to August 2020. Prof. Narahari was a Post-Doctoral Researcher at the Laboratory for Information and Decision Systems (LIDS) at MIT in 1992 and a Visiting Scientist at the National Institute of Standards and Technology in 1997. He is a fellow of IEEE, Indian National Science Academy, Indian Academy of Sciences, Indian National Academy of Engineering, and the National Academy of Sciences. He received the J.C. Bose National Fellowship from the Department of Science and Technology, Government of India, and the IISc Alumni Award for Research Excellence in Engineering in 2009. In September 2024, he was selected for the Sir M. Visvesvaraya Life Time Achievement award for Senior Scientists from the Government of Karnataka.
Mr. Manjunatha Bachegowda is a distinguished Engineer with an M.Tech in VLSI Design and over 20 years of excellence in enterprise Data Storage Systems and cross-platform technologies, driving innovation and large-scale engineering transformation in complex global environments. A certified Scrum Master and Product Owner, he combines deep technical expertise with strategic leadership — building high-performance teams, strengthening release strategies, and delivering predictable, high-impact outcomes in mission-critical domains. He serves as an Executive Council Member of Visvesvaraya Technological University (VTU), contributing to academic reforms, policy initiatives, and industry–academia collaboration, while also engaging with institutions to advance technical education and environmental awareness. He has actively contributed to political ecosystems through digital and on-ground campaigns from booth to state level, and has represented the state at the national level three times. Committed to social impact, he has led initiatives in solid waste management, eco-conscious campaigns, rainwater management, low-cost STP implementations, and plantation drives, promoting sustainable and community-driven development. Voluntered extensively on the ground-level implementation of the e-Khata system, ensuring effective execution and citizens reach through 140 plus free camps His mission is to inspire young minds to become innovators, leaders, and changemakers. A technologist, mentor, policymaker, and social contributor — Mr. Manjunatha Bachegowda leads with purpose, integrity, and vision.
Dr. Thamme Gowda is a Senior Research Scientist at Microsoft Translator in Redmond, Washington. He obtained his BE in CS&E from SJCIT (2012), and his MS (2017) and Ph.D. (2022) in Computer Science from the University of Southern California (USC), Los Angeles. He has worked as a Software Engineer at SimplyPhi (2012-14), a co-founder at Datoin.com
Dr. Prasant Misra is a Senior Scientist at Tata Consultancy Services Research and Visiting Faculty at Indian Institute of Science. His research focuses on mobility, energy, and intelligent systems, with emphasis on modeling, optimization, and decision intelligence for urban infrastructure. He has over 19 years of experience and has authored several patents and publications in CPS, IoT, and electric mobility. His notable recognitions include the IEEE Computer Society Distinguished Contributor (2025) and MIT Technology Review TR35 India award. He is actively involved with professional bodies such as IEEE and ACM, contributing to standards, policy, and editorial boards. He holds a Ph.D. from the University of New South Wales and currently serves as Chair of the IEEE Bangalore Section (2026).
